Hello.

I am Giritharan, and I'm a UX designer with over 9 years of experience in the field. I'm passionate about creating digital experiences that are not only visually appealing, but also intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to all.

 

I first discovered my love for design in college, where I studied graphic design and learned about the principles of visual communication. After graduation, I landed my first job as a graphic designer at a small marketing agency. While I enjoyed creating beautiful designs, I quickly realized that what really fascinated me was how people interacted with those designs. I was curious about how people made decisions, how they navigated interfaces, and how they felt when using a product.

That curiosity led me to delve deeper into UX design. I started reading books, attending conferences, and taking online courses to learn more about the field. I also took on more UX-related projects at work, and eventually transitioned to a full-time UX design role.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients and industries, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. I've designed websites, mobile apps, enterprise software, and even physical products. I've conducted user research, created wireframes and prototypes, and collaborated with developers to bring my designs to life.

But what I'm most proud of is the impact that my designs have had on people's lives. I've designed healthcare apps that help patients manage their medications, e-commerce websites that make online shopping easier and more enjoyable, and educational software that engages and motivates students.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I also volunteer my design skills for non-profit organizations that are doing important work in my community.
